It is 1st person really, you can get 3rd person view but makes combat difficult when sword fighting etc as it was designed to be played in 1st person (which works VERY well).

Which ones you played? Becuase Oblivion obliterates them all.... i personally thought the first person wouldnt work but man it does! Combat feels so much more real and hard hitting, plus easier to dodge and judge attacks.

Hold on a sec..... in this thread you said you had played it.....

Anyway see here for my first impressions when i got it:

Id say Oblivion needs a tiny bit better pc to run it that WoW

Needs quite a good spec PC to run it well as the GFX and Physics in it are top notch!

WoW is online, oblivion is 100 hours+ of single player plus no fees! Depends what GFX Card and Ram are like to be honest...
