I've played it a few times. Having not played CCGs in the past I found it really easy to pick up and fun too. There seems to be a lot of depth in the game and a TON of fable deliciousness! Music, Characters, Villains etc

I see it as an iterative process like that of iOS and Android. Games that come out in the future will eventually not play on the oldest hardware. That would be true of a new generation of consoles eventually anyway. This seems like more of a gradual process.
The Lionhead forums will be closing tomorrow 14:00 BST I believe the Studio is closing as well. Microsoft owns the IP but it seems unlikely that they will do anything with it any time soon.
